happy to present you the video premiere for 'Sunny Season' by Big Wave Riders
today! The song is taken from their debut album 'Life Less Ordinary', which
will be released on Soliti this Friday.
Big Wave
Riders are Teppo (vocals & guitar), Aleksi (bass & bvoc), Anssi (guitar
& bvoc), Pete (drums) and Lauri (sax & synth) from Helsinki, Finland.
Their music is inspired by waves, echoes and experimental rhythms with an
electronic touch, which is basically the kind of music the boys were influenced
by when they were teenagers. In their own words they say: 'Our music is
not trying to fit into any certain genre. We make music without mathematics or
accurate calculations. The songs are fast, slow, rhythmic and with variety'.
In their
new video they perfectly combine psychedelic, colorful images with their modern,
energetic sound. 'Sunny Season’ is the second single of their long-awaited
debut album and ready to make our summer days even better. The video is edited
and directed by Big Wave Riders frontman Teppo Merilainen. The camera credits
go out to Antti Linko, Pyry Kovanen and Patrick Lindholm.
